The Blue Mountains Public Library, Thornbury:  The Fourth Annual Blue Mountains Youth Film Festival is upon us once again and the BMYFF committee is currently seeking out budding film makers to submit their finest selections to the committee. 

Interested Youth must be 19 years or under to enter this contest.  The film must be more than five minutes and less than twenty and the deadline to receive submissions is on Friday, February 24 at 5:00pm.

All films submitted will be juried by BMYFF, and selected films will then be juried by film industry professionals.  BMYFF 2011 saw film industry professionals from the Toronto International Film Festival, Foresight Films, and various other production companies.  Prizes will be awarded for best three films. 

The film festival evening will commence on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 7:00pm, where the top three films and the people’s choice film will be screened and refreshments will be served.  For questions and entry forms please contact Jennifer Perks at 519-599-3681, or visit the Library or Town web site.
